Liposome-encapsulated retinal + 58% fermented Korean black ginseng. Ksecret's Seoul 1988 combination. Liposome-encapsulating the retinal allows for the active's progressive release, improving efficacy and reducing the risk of irritation.

For all skin types, especially normal, combination, and dry skin. A good entry point into retinoids thanks to the liposomal format and black ginseng's soothing coverage. Not recommended for reactive skin.

When: At night.

Routine step: Before moisturizer.

Frequency: Start 2-3 nights per week. Gradually increase frequency according to tolerance. Maximum use: 5 nights/week.

Warnings:
• If this is your first time using retinoids, remember every skin has its own pace. Introducing actives gradually lets you assess tolerance, respect the skin barrier, and avoid unexpected reactions.
• Don't combine with exfoliating acids the same night.
• Daily SPF use is essential during treatment — retinoids increase skin photosensitivity.

Stop use if you experience any persistent discomfort. Treat your skin on the days it feels comfortable and stable.

Ksecret's SEOUL 1988 Serum Retinal Liposome 2% + Black Ginseng combines liposome-encapsulated retinal with 58% Korean black ginseng extract. Liposomal encapsulation allows for progressive release of the retinal, improving efficacy and reducing irritation compared with non-encapsulated forms. The "Liposome 2%" in the name refers to the total liposomal complex, not pure retinal (200ppm). Black ginseng provides antioxidant action and complements the anti-aging effect.
