A cleanser with 0.5% BHA combined with heartleaf (Houttuynia cordata) and centella — the anti-inflammatory active that soothes what the BHA activates.

The BHA + heartleaf combination is more comprehensive than BHA alone: it treats pores and calms the inflammation it generates, making it suitable for sensitive skin with breakouts, clogged pores, or excessive shine.

Suitable for daily PM use on normal, combination, and oily skin with imperfections or acne-prone skin.

When: Preferably at night. It can also be used in the AM if the skin tolerates it.

Routine step: Single cleanse or second step of a double cleanse.

Frequency: Suitable for daily use in the PM. For skin that experiences dryness, alternate with a BHA-free cleanser in the AM.

Warning: Daily SPF use is essential during treatment — exfoliating acids increase skin's photosensitivity.

Abib's Acne Foam Cleanser Heartleaf combines 0.5% salicylic acid with heartleaf (Houttuynia cordata) and centella asiatica — the ingredient that treats pores with the ingredient that calms the inflammation it causes. The BHA works from inside the pore; heartleaf reduces surface inflammation; centella strengthens the barrier during cleansing.

For normal, combination, and oily skin with imperfections or acne tendencies.
