Azelaic acid is one of the few active ingredients that treats both active imperfections and the marks they leave, with much greater tolerability than BHA or pure vitamin C. Kojic acid reinforces its action on blemishes, and tea tree oil adds bacterial control.

Curated for normal, combination, and oily skin with active imperfections or post-acne marks.

When: Morning and/or night. Azelaic acid is compatible with AM use with SPF afterwards.

Routine step: After cleansing and toning, before moisturizing.

Frequency: Suitable for daily use. If you are a first-time user, start in the PM and increase frequency as tolerated.

Purito Seoul's Azelaic Acid 10 Kojic Tea Tree Serum is a serum with 10% azelaic acid—the maximum allowed in over-the-counter cosmetics—combined with kojic acid and tea tree extract. Azelaic acid is one of the few active ingredients that simultaneously treats active blemishes and post-inflammatory spots, with much higher tolerability than BHA or pure vitamin C. Kojic acid inhibits tyrosinase and enhances spot correction; tea tree adds bacterial control.
