Melaclear Cream

Dr. Althea's Melaclear Cream is a targeted depigmenting treatment: it is applied only to dark spots, acne marks or uneven areas, not to the whole face. It combines 30,000 ppm tranexamic acid, niacinamide and alpha arbutin: tranexamic acid acts on the plasmin pathway, niacinamide inhibits melanin transfer and alpha arbutin reinforces the depigmenting action by inhibiting tyrosinase. Hyaluronic acid in three molecular forms and ceramide NP support the barrier in the treated area.

Its balm-like texture melts into a consistency between cream and serum. It is used morning and night as the last treatment step, always after your moisturizer: it doesn't replace it. For normal, dry and combination skin with localized dark spots or post-acne marks; for sensitive skin, introduce it once the barrier is stable.

How to apply: after your moisturizer, take a small amount and spread it in a thin layer only over the spots or marks, patting gently until absorbed. At night you can leave a more generous layer. By day, let it absorb and always apply SPF on top: without daily sun protection, dark spot treatment loses effectiveness.
